The Compliance Cauldron: Stirring up Solutions for Plan Fiduciaries

The fiduciary landscape within which employer-sponsored health plans has been in flux since passage of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021(“CAA”). The compliance and risk assessment for both ERISA and non-ERISA covered plans has changed and continues to evolve, leaving many plan fiduciaries with more questions than answers.

Join us on October 30th for an intimate, informative session where we will provide a comprehensive overview of key changes and risks facing health plan fiduciaries. The first half will be spent discussing some of the key challenges and opportunities presented by the CAA along with practical tips, ideas, and when possible, solutions to the challenges. We will also provide a brief overview of the litigation environment against service providers and health plans. The second half is reserved for your questions. We hear a variety of concerns from plan sponsors/fiduciaries, related to, without limitation:

  • accessing claims data
  • seeking payment provisions in provider contracts
  • utilizing claims data once it is obtained
  • understanding the new attestation requirements
  • designing, obtaining and assessing compensation disclosures (and how to get this information if you are not an ERISA-governed plan)
  • obtaining the necessary information for prescription drug data collection reporting or mental health parity comparative analysis reporting
  • meeting the governing fiduciary standards to minimize the risk of litigation from plan participants

We will be ready to answer these and any other questions you may have! Register Here!
